My friend Myriam, with whom I wander around Bangkok almost every day, isn't yet used to... my habits ;-)
She is often ahead of me, and thus within my field of view.
I like this photo, but it’s a missed shot: a second earlier, there were two cats in my frame, playfully scuffling in front of the seated child.
That was the scene I wanted to capture.
That was the scene I should have captured.
I don't hold it against Myriam: street photography is always full of surprises—good and bad—and unpredictable variables, like the position of the person accompanying you.
